A private place to notice how you feel. Your personal journal entries stay on your device. They are not uploaded, sent anywhere, or stored outside your phone, and the reading runs entirely on-device.
When you finish an entry, your words are read to estimate which feelings may be present and how strongly they show up. The result appears as an emotion spectrum. It analyzes the text based on your phrasing, word choice, and tone.
The goal is not to tell you how to feel. Every emotion is treated as equal here. No color is brighter or better than another because feelings are not good or bad. They are information, a mirror for your patterns, not a verdict. It is self-awareness.
Between the Lines exists to help you notice how you actually feel. When we see our own patterns more clearly, we tend to become a little kinder to ourselves.
Some emotions are difficult to describe with words alone. Feelings are rarely spelled out. They live in context, contradiction, and what goes unsaid. Some hold two opposite emotions at once. Others point to something missing. Some hide behind other words. Others show up as almost no signal at all.
That is where a human ear helps most. Your labels help train the model to learn what people hear in a sentence, in a way no word list can capture.
You do not share anything personal here. Just read a sample, choose the labels that fit, and submit. Every label makes the model’s reading a little more human.
The goal of this app is to help people understand their emotions more clearly so they can communicate better with themselves, heal, grow, and make meaning from what they feel.
